OUR STORY
On March 17th of 2018, John Davison received a text message from a family he knew well. He had coached a special-needs baseball team that their son played on. The message read that Savannah, the excellent big sister of the family, had passed away. The family invited John to the funeral and told him that they wanted to move as soon as possible. They couldn’t bare to be in the home that Savannah had so lively occupied. John had met Savannah and liked her; she reminded him of one of his own daughters. Sitting in his vehicle, John tried to make sense of the brief message and the weight of grief the family was carrying. What pain.
